Isiah Hamilton was heading south on Rahway Avenue when his car veered off the road and struck a pole around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Woodbridge police said.
Hamilton was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, where he was pronounced dead.
Hamilton’s two passengers, 23-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, were taken to University Hospital in Newark with non life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
